Event Set-Up team members will deliver the set-up requirements for all events and entertainment performances held at Te Pae Christchurch. Event Set Up Supervisors lead our teams to deliver all requirements. We are seeking team members with availability to work early morning starts and late finishes, along with weekends.

How will you contribute in this role:

• Assist with the set up and pack down of events to world-class standards
• Set up furniture and equipment for each event as per client's requirements and floor plan
• Set up of operable walls
• Ensure that all furniture and equipment is in good working order, and any deficiency is reported
• Ensure that all operational staff and contractors adhere to safe working practices

For the Supervisor role:

• Lead and motivate the team to collaborate and achieve best practices for our clients

Follow health and safety legislation and best practice.

• Know the set-up and operation of a variety of event types,      including large conferences, exhibitions, banqueting and live entertainment.
• Have a strong work ethic and be flexible
• Be able to follow event plans and procedures
• Works well under pressure
• Must be physically fit
• Be able to work late evening and early morning shifts 

For the Supervisor role:

• Experience leading a team to achieve results in a large-scale environment
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Demonstrated experience successfully working with diverse teams
